It’s interesting that reference is made to an “upscale” neighbourhood – certainly not the case with Bala – perhaps to the north or even the south but Bala remains a family town with the majority of cottages having been generational for close to 100 years – my family’s cottage is now fifth generation – same place – same cottage. The Government needs to step back, and step away and find a place that is not already established, populated and enjoyed with many businesses in the same place by the same name for decades.
