The Director of the Ministry of the Environment’s Environmental Assessment and Approvals Branch denied our request that the proposed project to build a hydro-electric generating station at the Bala Falls be elevated to require an individual environmental assessment.<\/p>\n
We request that you review this decision, as our reading of the Director’s response dated March 25, 2011 shows that it was based on incomplete information \u2013 in summary, the science is lacking.<\/p>\n
